About Us

Board-certified Physician Assistant Daphna Shalom founded BevMed LA (formally known as Beverlywood Med) in 2019 with a clear vision: to create a space where medicine and aesthetics meet personalized, whole-person care.

Daphna earned her Bachelor’s degree at Yeshiva University in New York before completing her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Pace University in 2014. Since graduating, she has spent over a decade in medicine, blending her passion and eye for art with her medical expertise to create natural, harmonious results for her patients.

Throughout her journey in healthcare, Daphna recognized a common gap—patients were too often given standardized treatment plans, a “one-size-fits-all” approach that overlooked their unique needs, goals, and lifestyles.

 

Determined to change that, she built BevMed LA as a boutique wellness and regenerative aesthetics practice that treats every patient as an individual.

In 2021, Daphna expanded her vision with VitaMed LA, a mobile IV infusion service dedicated to bringing hydration, vitamin therapy, and wellness optimization directly to clients across Los Angeles. Two years later, in 2023, she launched WellMed LA, a curated supplement shop offering clean, physician-approved formulations designed to complement BevMed’s holistic approach to health and beauty.

Each treatment plan—whether focused on anti-aging therapies, advanced skin rejuvenation, or wellness optimization—is crafted with both medical precision and an artist’s eye.
