What Is Recovery Like?

Dermal Filler Aftercare

​

Following treatment:

• Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours

• Avoid excessive heat exposure

• Avoid alcohol immediately after treatment

• Avoid massaging treated areas unless instructed

• Sleep with your head elevated if swelling occurs

As with any injectable treatment, bruising may occur. To help minimize bruising, patients may consider avoiding alcohol, fish oil supplements, turmeric supplements, aspirin, and ibuprofen for approximately 5 days before treatment if medically appropriate.
