The amount needed is very patient dependent. In our practice, patients are receiving approximately 44 units on average for aesthetic purposes.
Botox/Dysport/Daxxify take roughly 2-5 days to start kicking in, and their effects last between 2.5 and 4 months (the higher the dosage, the longer the duration).

Like with any aesthetic injections, there is a small chance of bruising. Try to avoid blood thinners such as ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oils, tumeric pills, and alcohol 5 days prior to procedure. ​
